The Beginning
His name was Hamar. He was a dark stallion who ruled every land you see with an iron fist. He was hated by lights and feared by darks.
Her name was Evergreen. She was a light mare who loved life and ignored Hamar's rules.
Hamar couldn't just ignore this dissobediant mare, so he had her imprisoned. She continued to do what she wanted, regardless of what he did. After awhile, instead of getting angry, Hamar was captivated. This mare was amazing!
When Hamar confessed to Evergreen that he loved her, she surprised him by declaring the same thing. However, Hamar couldn't stay. Revolution was in the air, so he and Evergreen fled. They left for good, and haven't been seen since.

The Now
The darks still have the uper hand. When Hamar left, they made sure of that quite quickly. While things aren't as bad as they had been under Hamar, they still aren't very good for the lights.
Neither side wants a war. Occasional a small clash will occur between a few horses, but these occurances are few and far between.
Will there ever be peace? Maybe, in time, Hamar and Evergreen will return and rule over darks and lights together. Or maybe, the darks and lights will kill each other off.

The End
The End is up to us. We are currently at the End of the Beginning, but what next? It's up to you.
